{"id":1797,"date":"2011-04-11T10:45:37","date_gmt":"2011-04-11T17:45:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theeduca.mywhc.ca\/?p=433"},"modified":"2011-04-11T10:45:37","modified_gmt":"2011-04-11T17:45:37","slug":"does-god-exist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashlarcollege.ca\/ashlar-archived\/does-god-exist\/","title":{"rendered":"Does God Exist?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Does God Exist?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<address>A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.<\/address>\n<address>As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.<\/address>\n<address>They talked about so many things and various subjects<\/address>\n<address>When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said.<\/address>\n<address><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cI don\u2019t believe that God exists\u201d<\/span><\/address>\n<p>Why do you say that? Asked the customer.<\/p>\n<address> Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn\u2019t exist.<\/address>\n<address>Tell me, if God exists,<\/address>\n<address>\n<\/address>\n<address>Would there be so many sick people?<\/address>\n<address>Would there be so many sick children?<\/address>\n<address>If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.<\/address>\n<address>I can\u2019t imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.<\/address>\n<address>The customer thought for a moment, but didn\u2019t respond because he didn\u2019t want to start an argument.<\/address>\n<address>The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.<\/address>\n<p>Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long stringy dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.<\/p>\n<p>The customer turned back and entered the barbershop again and said to the Barber.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> You know what \u201cBarbers do not Exist\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow can you say that?\u201d asked the surprised barber\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo\u201d the customer exclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBarbers don\u2019t exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like the man outside\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAh, but barbers DO exist! What happens is people do not come to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExactly!\u201d affirmed the customer. \u201dThat\u2019s the point\u201d!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>God too DOES exist.! <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>What happens is, people don\u2019t go to him and do not look for him.
