{"id":529,"date":"2011-05-07T23:48:15","date_gmt":"2011-05-08T06:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theeduca.mywhc.ca\/?p=529"},"modified":"2011-05-07T23:48:15","modified_gmt":"2011-05-08T06:48:15","slug":"god-is-the-answer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashlarcollege.ca\/ashlar-archived\/god-is-the-answer\/","title":{"rendered":"God is the Answer"},"content":{"rendered":"<address>We read the headlines daily and we listen to the news,<\/address>\n<address>We are anxious and bewildered with the World\u2019s conflicting views.<\/address>\n<address>We are restless and dissatisfied and sadly insecure, and we voice our<\/address>\n<address>discontentment over things we must endure.<\/address>\n<address>For this violent age we live in, is filled with nameless fears, that grow<\/address>\n<address>as we discuss things that come daily to our ears.<\/address>\n<address>So instead of reading headlines, that disturb the heart and mind,<\/address>\n<address>let us open up the Bible and in doing so we\u2019ll find.<\/address>\n<address>That this age is no different, from the millions gone before,<\/address>\n<address>But in every hour of crisis, God has opened up a door, for all<\/address>\n<address>all who sought his guidance and trusted in his plan.<\/address>\n<address>For God provides the <strong>ANSWER<\/strong> that can not be found by man.<\/address>\n<address>And although there\u2019s hate and violence and dissention all around, we can<\/address>\n<address>always find a refuge that is built on \u201c Solid Ground\u201d<\/address>\n<address>If we go to God believing that he hears our smallest prayer<\/address>\n<address>and that nothing can befall us, when we are in his care.<\/address>\n<address>For only by believing in the things we cannot see,<\/address>\n<address>can all the Nations be United in a Peace that makes men Free.<\/address>\n<address>For the skill of man can conquer new worlds in Outer Space, but<\/address>\n<address>only our Creator, can endow mankind with grace.<\/address>\n<address>And only Grace, that is divine, can unite us with each other and make<\/address>\n<address>our enemies our friends and.<\/address>\n<address><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">EVERY MAN A BROTHER<\/span><\/strong><\/address>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #888888;\">By Helen Steiner Rice from \u201cLoving Thoughts\u201d (1985)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We read the headlines daily and we listen to the news, We are anxious and bewildered with the World\u2019s conflicting views.
